Scene It? launched in 2002 and became an immediate success. In its first year, "Scene It? Movie Edition" sold more units than Trivial Pursuit, Pictionary, and other top-rated board games during their corresponding launch periods.
In June of 2003, Screenlife signed a deal with Mattel, making Scene It? available in all channels of distribution throughout the world.
In 2005, Screenlife sold a record-breaking five million Scene It? games.
Today, Screenlife has over 21 different Scene It? games and can be obtained in nine languages, across 26 countries and available in more than 50,000 retail locations worldwide.
Since its inception, Screenlife has won a multitude of awards, including several Children's Choice Awards, Parents' Choice Awards, a Facility Excellence Award; and at the 2005 Toy Fair in New York City, Scene It? garnered the prestigious Game of the Year Award; and a Best Game Play at the 2006 Hollywood DVD Awards.
Screenlife has secured thousands of partnerships with major film studios such as Disney, Dreamworks-SKG, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studio, Sony Pictures Entertainment, 20th Century Fox, Universal Studios and Warner Bros. Entertainment as well as major television studios, sports leagues and recording labels, including ESPN, Rolling Stone Magazine and MTV.
